Poblenou Urban District’s corporate identity wins a bronze Laus award.

The latest edition of the Laus awards was held this past Wednesday 25th of June in Barcelona. Throughout the evening, ruiz+company, the designers of the Poblenou Urban District logo, were distinguished with 4 awards and one of them was a bronze Laus for the corporate identity of the association. These will join the other 33 Laus that the studio has won in the past, 4 of which are gold.

The logo, which was inspired by a flag and the industrial background of the Poblenou was introduced in November 2013 and since then has been the graphic representation of the Poblenou Urban District. Ruiz+company is a design studio and their headquarters are in the Poblenou district in Barcelona. They have worked for brands such as Levi’s, Nike, Diesel, TV3, Martini, Coca Cola, Smart, Repsol, Hewlett Packard, Adidas, Sony Music, Vanity Fair and Tous, among others.

The Laus awards are a private non-profit association and are organized by the Association of Graphic Designers and Art Directors of FAD (ADG-FAD). Their mission is to promote the visual communication in the cultural and economical life of Spain.
